Both seem perfectly fine. I didn’t vote because I do both.
Sometimes I end up doing a ‘big’ sign of the cross, sometimes it’s a ‘little’ sign of the cross. Depends on where I am, how I’m sitting, standing, kneeling or laying down. Depends on if I’m at church, at the table, in a crowd. Am I praying with a large group? Small group? By myself?
Again - both and add a couple more in there too. Big, medium, small and tiny. I do all of them depending on many different situations. I can honestly say it’s never, ever, ever been an issue I’ve thought about before or realized someone was watching and judging it. LOL.
