News reports tell of such government intervention with Catholic schools and parishes especially, particularly when it comes to gay employment.

Ploease this is common sense.Agreeing with this statement without qualification would mean you agree with religious organisations being able to employ known child molesters without intervention by authorities.
I think they call it separation of Church and State, unless it is a one way relationship which is quite the double standard. So the question asked here was the extent to which respondents agreed with the statement: “a religious organization should be able to make decisions about who it hires to teach its faith to the next generation, free from government control.”
No it is exceptionally bad survey design.Ploease this is common sense.
Well a known child molester would be arrested anyways because that crime falls under something else.No it is exceptionally bad survey design.
Right. The question is also limited to those who ‘teach its faith’ meaning the opinion expressed does not apply to, say, English teachers, administrators, cleaners or other non-teachers. It would also not apply to any member of a contemplative religious order.
