EF is a “compromise” (or a sell out) to those Bishops who hate the TLM and are worried Bugnini’s “reforms” are about to be trashed.

The correct term is the “Traditional Roman Rite of Mass”, for this Rite of Mass is the one that developed over time naturally without the aid of human hands or “liturgical experts”.

Oh. Now Benedict 16 has sold out. Interesting. Especially since he is considered one of the most brilliant theologians alive, and possibly for some time back. How nice.

Without the aid of human hands? Excuse me, human hands have touched this Mass repeatedly since the time of Trent; granted that many of the changes were minor, that hardly fits the reality. and no liturgical experts. Don’t know what history book you have been reading from, but the most recent change to the Mass which "developed over time naturally without the iad of human hands or “liturgical experts” was in 1962, and you can bet your booty there were liturgical experts involved with the change. Human hands and all.
