Notice that it is not about your favorite Gospel. Instead, it is in respect to the one you (think you) read more often.

I read the daily readings. Every single day.
That’s not an option.

I agree. Outside of bible study, it depends on the day and the calendar year.

Voted John because I read it most often. It also does happen to be my favourite but that’s just how it goes. Studying John’s Gospel played a big part in my reversion to the faith I’d ignored as a teen and owning it for myself. He got me asking ‘who is Jesus?’ seriously for the first time in my young life.

i voted for St. Luke and St. Matthew would be a close second.

John. That first chapter - reads so smooth and elequent.
Hooked, after that 🤓

I read St. Luke most often. My Father always reads aloud from St. Luke on Christmas Eve. 😊

Well, the current readings in the Church are what i read most often. But i am drawn to the Gospel According to St. Luke. It is so inspiring to me. I even picked Luke as my Confirmation name.

I’m currently reading the words of Jesus in a red-letter bible I found online.
I’m finding it very healing

Those who read daily gospel, please vote considering extra readings, even if they don’t happen that often : )

I read Mark the most. It’s the earliest Gospel, so all of its teachings were fresh when it was written. This is not a matter of chinese whispers-- no, it was based on eye-witness accounts. That’s why there are so many parallels in the Gospels.

I also love Mark’s Gospel and it’s my first choice to read. It’s definitely “fresh” and fast moving and Jesus is very human in Mark. That said, I love all the Gospels!
