  • Year A
  • Year B
  • Year C
  • I’ve noticed the difference and I like them all/don’t have a preference.
  • I haven’t paid much attention to the difference in readings from year to year and therefore I don’t have a preference.
  • I don’t even know what this year a b c you’re talking about.

It never occurred to me that someone might prefer the readings of one year over another.

I like them all.

There are some readings I really love, but they aren’t all lumped together in the same book or gospel. So I don’t have a preference for year A, B, or C.

Yes I’ve noticed the Lenten Gospel readings are quite different.

I like Year C (St. Luke) the best, then Year A (St. Matthew) and last Year B (St. Mark)

I like year B because I like St. Mark’s economy with words.

I agree.

St Mark won my heart with the story of the rich young man. He is the only one who includes this phrase:

And Jesus, looking at him, loved him…

❤️ That is just so beautiful.

I have to go with St. Luke’s Gospel. Some of my very favorite parables from The Lord are only found in that Gospel. In fact, I picked St. Luke as my Confirmation Saint because his account of the Gospel is my very favorite Book in the whole Bible. If you take St. Luke’s Gospel and the Book of Acts together, which he also authored, you have a very good history of the Life of Christ and His teachings and the founding of the Church.
