I have in a boxed set of eerie movies. You may think what a media hog. But I am disabled and can’t driveA good scary movie with some shock to it is the 1959 release of “The Head”, which was ahead of its time (pardon the pun.)
When the camera allows you to see what took place, even now, seeing the head of a man being able to speak but attached to a machine is where the shock comes in because you aren’t expecting it.
He has no body…just a head with the pumps and equipment keeping it alive. His colleague beheaded him to keep him alive after a heart attack. Then a woman is beheaded and given a brand new body.
Nowadays they talk about the possibility of brain transplants, head transplants, and other things. Little did they know in 1959 that this may be real some day.
