My orginal assertion (which went unanswered, by the way), was addressed to BrianH and dealt with his facetious statement about the existence of Adam & Eve, Can, Set, et al. They are mentioned in the Gospel of Luke in the genalogy narrative.
BrianH claims to be a believer in Christ. If so, how could he deny the verses in Luke which identify these people as having been ancestors of Jesus Christ?
This makes the following statement by St. Jerome all the more valid . . .
