I admire the holy father for a dozen reasons, but this is probably number one.

I agree. Even though he wasn’t speaking with papal infallibility, he speaks as though Christ is speaking to us.

I think the headline is a little misleading. The Pope actually said “We don’t have the answers, but we know that Jesus suffered as innocent children suffer.” I think this is a bit different.

I agree, he is to be admired.

I have enormous respect and affection for our Papa. He does not hesitate to give us the truth as he sees it from his years of prayer, study and introspection. He doesn’t dumb it down to give us the easy, pat answers. Sometimes the answer is, “I don’t know” – and when spoken in love and simplicity… it just eases the soul.

Our German Shepherd was just what we needed after the loss of JPII. What a grace we have been given by the Holy Spirit!
