Other versions of this story exist if one doesn’t care for the tone of this one. It also mentions at this same meeting were some members of the “Sinti” ethnic group. I had never heard of them. I did look up the term. Too complicated, others can look it up for themselves. A bit like the Roma (Gypsies) apparently. Some fascinating reading.
