Actually the scarves that I didn’t see, were thrown into the air & allowed to float downward. They were used to depict the rainful during the great flood. I was told that the 50 yr. old women, who were also supposed to float downward to the floor had QUITE a time getting back up. Of course, this is all a figment of my imagination. Never REALLY happened.Scarves? Oh! You mean the wings that were attached to their wrists - never saw ‘em. Nor did I see the 12’ high maypoles with ribbons attached to them.
