I am sick of all this nonsense. Our Pope has done nothing wrong whatsoever. I am sick of the supposed “outrage” in Germany. I am sick of the German Chancellor. I am sick of the “Catholic” lawmakers in the US. I am sick of this misleading media coverage. I am sick of these unfounded criticisms from Jewish leaders. I am sick of Israel. I am sick of the lack of clarification from the USCCB. I am sick of Church leaders who are not supporting our Pope. I am sick of traitors in the Vatican who are not standing up for our Pope.

Our pope has done nothing wrong.

Im guessing your quite sick from your post:D

But i do agree with your post,i feel the same.

I agree. Except I don’t think Israel has anything to do with all this. But I totally agree that our Holy Father has not only done nothing wrong, but has done something that is very right.

Concur…Concur…Concur.

But these types of things make me always remember:
  1. @1900 China government welcomed with open arms the Catholic and other Christian missionaries into the country…@ 50 years later (1950) there were 2 million Christians (mostly Catholic) in the China…then Mao Tse-tung took over…and outlawed the Christian religion…churches were destroyed… and missionaries were expelled or imprisoned…murdered…and the new Christians persecuted. Well, @ 50 years later after the persecutions (2000)…there are close to 25 million Christians in China…some practicing their faith openly others allowed to survive but underground. So, I do the math:
50 yrs “good times” = 2 million Christians
50 yrs “bad times” = 25 million Christians
and conclude…that one of the Fathers of the Church…Tertullian (160 AD-220 AD) was right…the “blood of the martyrs” is the seed of the Church!
  2. God just seems to have to do everything in his own mysterious ways (not always but a lot due to our rebellious sinful ways)…so when Pope JP-II said that the 21st Century would be “a new springtime” for the Church…I thought…ALLELUIA!..then as 21st century started to unfold (9/11…wars…genocides…etc., etc…)…I realized that Tertullian is still right…and JP-II knew it…more persecution and attacks…more blood…these will be the “springtime” tools that the Lord will use to strengthen (prune) and grow his Church throughout the world.
  3. Given that God sent his only begotten Son to save us…as the “Word made flesh”…Emmanuel…God with Us…and when He got so close to us and tried to teach us who Our Father really is…we did not like it…so we murdered him…the Blood of Christ is the eternal seed of the Church and the seed of God’s Divine Plan of Salvation…why should it be any different for us.
    **
I am just glad that all of the “useful idiots”
*** stupidly attacking the Holy Father…did not arrest him and put him on trial…and then murder him.
*****Lenin’s term for all the USA citizens who supported communism and became communist in the USA…who Lenin said had no clue what they were really supporting…but he welcomed them to his communist manifesto movement as his faithful and loyal “useful idiots.”
Please forgive me…but this is my simple minded way of trying to remember that God is so great that he can let us (me included) do the most evil things in our free will…and his Divine Plan will not be thwarted…not a chance!..not even close!..no cigar!

BRAVO!!! I’m feeling the same way!!
And I think that one of the threads was just closed because I named one of these “Church leaders” who aren’t supporting our Pope. Since I can’t access a thread that’s gone, tell me if that is what happened if you can. I certainly don’t want to be the one who causes a thread to be closed.

You said it all-in bunches!

All those people you mentioned, they can just go ‘suck on eggs’!I’m tired of hearing their whining…Grrrr

I believe that it is Israeli heads that are demanding that the Vatican open its private vault and disclose everything that Pope Pius XII ever wrote and demanding that Pope Benedict XVI delay Pius XII’s canonization yes?

That’s another thing that makes me mad. Canonizations don’t need to be justified to people inside the Church let alone outside the Church. No one can do anything these days without somebody getting their feelings hurt and the 24 hour news media blowing up a misunderstanding.

The news media is sick. The NYTimes article said the SSPX was formed because of its “rejection of a Vatican II document that absolved contemporary Jews from the death of Jesus”. Are they kidding me? How ridiculous is that?!

It’s probably the lack of support/understanding or even willingness to TRY and understand from supposed “Catholics” that makes me the most upset.

V. Let us pray for our Sovereign Pontiff Benedict XVI.
R. The Lord preserve him and give him life, and make him blessed upon the earth, and deliver him not up to the will of his enemies.

Thank you! I agree with you 100%. I am also disturbed by people thinking they have a say in the Pope’s decisions. He’s the friggin’ Holy Father. Not the ‘Dude Who Waves Around a Bit but Doesn’t Have any Real Authority’.

We just have to pray harder for the people who are against our holy father. :knight2: And if a little butt kicking is involved, that’s OK too. Just kidding.

Your correct!. He did not do anything wrong.

I too support the pope, people who already have a bias against him will use any opportunity to attack him

The Vatican was unfortunately ineffeicient in explaining the Pope’s actions, is it true Pope Benedict did not know the reason for the excommunication of the bishop in question?

Ah yes, that. OK. I would personally say that I am sick of outsiders demanding to have a say in the internal matters of our Church. But that’s me - I agree with you.

No, it is not true.

The Bishops were excommunicated because they were ordained illicitly without Rome’s approval, not for any other reason.

If you are referring to Msgr. Williamson’s denial of the holocaust, that is a terrible lie. If it was done with full knowledge, it was a grave sin. However, it is NOT a heresy and is therefore not a ground for an excommunication.

The Pope knew full well why the excommunications were pronounced.
