Pope elevates memorial of St. Mary Magdalene to feast day

Wonderful news! I’ve been saying for years that the “apostle to the apostles” deserves a full feast…not only the 12, but even Sts. Timothy and Titus are given a feast, so why not this greatest of female disciples (after Our Lady of course)?

St. Mary Magdalene, pray for us.
 
Beautiful. When I was in college, I had the opportunity to visit her shrine in Vezelay.
