Last week amid another media furore about Francis, Catholic World Report urged readers to "cut him some slack".
Today Eric Sammons of Crisis Magazine announced this on Twitter.
"I've decided that I will no longer criticize Pope Francis for the remainder of his pontificate. Since I've been a public critic of the pope for years, I thought I'd explain my decision in this short video." - Eric Sammons, Editor in Chief Crisis Magazine.
It's comforting to see the tide is turning towards a more magnanimous and more Catholic approach Catholic news media is starting to take when reporting on the Pope.
It's at least of good step in the right direction
