Pope Francis has sent a video-message to the Jesuit Refugee Service’s Centro Astalli in Rome on the occasion of its 35th anniversary. Describing the center as a concrete response to Christ’s words (“I was a stranger, and you welcomed me”), the Pope said that the center was “born of the prophetic vision of Father Pedro Arrupe,” who served as the Jesuits’ superior general from 1965 to 1983.
“Every one of you refugees who knock on our doors has the face of God, is the flesh of Christ,” he added.

If pope Francis failes to convert those 3 Muslim families he took with him to Rome, we should lock down the Churches and turn off the lights. xD

Say what you will about Francis’ other ambiguities. When it comes to the poor and oppressed, he’s anything but.

Yes an abundance of Spiritual Nourishment comes from this Pope. He is clearly breaking down walls not built upon the foundation’s of Christs Word.

The Ambiguities are not from the Pope, but from those without His refreshing vision and actions to show the way.

How can someone who’s belief it is, according to their holy books, to kill non-believers and in particular the Jews? Tell me that these dangerous people with dangerous and volatile beliefs have the face of God when they’re cutting off your head!

I previously posted on this forum and my post was deleted and I was warned about my “contempt” for other religions. I have no contempt for other religions and view them as an phenomenon of human culture.

I have therefore adapted my initial post so it does not infringe your forum rules. What I originally wished to convey was this: How can someone who’s belief it is, according to their holy books, to kill non-believers and in particular the Jews have the face of God? I strongly feel, and I hope my view is shared, that any person who actually believes God has commanded them to kill non-believers, and that people can fly into heaven on a unicorn, are dangerous and need psychological help.
