Pope Francis: Removal of Differences Between Man and Woman Is the Problem, Not the Solution

Which is laughable if you ever watch kids play. Even giving them the same toys, boys and girls play differently. My girls get UPSET when I try to play with them like a boy would with toys. They let me know in no uncertain terms they don’t want to pretend a battle between the Lego characters and the Mickey Mouse figurines. They will ONLY allow a nice tea-time and playing “house”.

Yes, I think most women value their femininity and men value their masculinity as one of the most integral, important parts of their identity. I think it should be celebrated. And that is what draws the sexes to each other.

If God intended no difference between genders, then why did He bother making two genders? After all, if gender is nothing but a social construct, then why bother creating a woman from a man? If two women, or two men, can form a marriage equal to one man and one woman, than why bother making two genders? God cannot be forced to do anything–so, why would He bother making two genders if they are the same?

Gender is actually a grammatical construct. The term for what differentiates men from women is the word “sex”, as in biological sex or sexual complementarity. “Gender theorists” want you to use the word “gender” because then they can decouple the concept of “gender” from biological sex.
