Sorry but the truth could hurt if you fear it but the truth is justice which means righteous. I am entitled to my orthodox beliefs. According to earlier traditional orthodox beliefs everyone is shown the truth and no one goes to hell without having the truth revealed to them. And we believe the truth is revealed to everyone. Therefore whoever does not accept Jesus before death will not go to heaven but we can not know if anyone did or what they did in their final moments. We can never judge who deserves to go to hell only God can know what a person chooses for he can read a prayer that is not finished yet and I suppose it will be accepted. God is our true father and loves the child more than anyone can do and loves all more than any of us. To baptise his children if he really wish them to go to heaven could be a sign he accepted Jesus upon death or that he will obtain some mercy from the Lord especially if his children follow Jesus. He would want his children to follow Christ. May the Lord atleast have some mercy to your father by him following Christ as there are different punishments in the afterlife
