Pope Francis wants greater roles for women in the Church.

I am just wondering, does anyone here think women do not belong in politics? Either as office holders or voters?

We have 1.2 billion members in our church, but only about 100 men choose the public face of our organization.​

Luckily its only so few- who have proven that they will do the will of the Lord and be obedient to the Church! Mankind has a darkened intellect that is deeply rooted in pride and selfishness. I can honestly say that if the people were allowed to vote for the man who occupies the Chair of Peter like they do for political office most people would vote for which ever Cardinal agreed with their beliefs and not by the will of God. There is a reason the Cardinals are cut off from the world while they are in Conclave and they have to swear an Oath to do the will of God – swearing an Oath has little effect on people today but asking God to witness to your truthfulness is a serious act by man and if broken would be a serious offense because it is breaking the second commandment . We lie so cavalierly now a days people wouldn’t think twice about swearing an Oath to God and then doing their own will because they are in denial about the truth to begin with, people honestly think that whatever they want is the will of God.

Seriously, look at how corrupt voting is around the world, it is usually ruled by the wealthy in the developed countries and by the powerful with aggression and intimidation in the developing countries not by love and charity……everyone wants to be God and not submit themselves to His will. Its why Mary is so beloved in our Church she did the will of God until the end – remember Peter told Jesus he wouldn’t allow Jesus to suffer and Jesus responded with “Get behind me Satan thou art a stumbling-block unto me: for thou mind is not on the things of God, but the things of men. ” Mary was obedient to God including being obedient to her son’s torture and death on the cross. Adam and Eve wanted to be God instead of lovingly accepting Him and His will and they lost everything and suffered an even greater death than physical death.

It always amazes me at how critical people can be about things the Church does and question it as if they know better and usually not fully understand the logic the Church has behind things. Like why did the Church make All Hallows Eve which is now a commercialized holiday known as Halloween but I digress…, All Saints Day and All Souls Day high holy days and put them in the same time as a Pagan feast? They did it for a specific reason but 1400 years later people get critical of the choice because the initial problem the Church was facing when they instituted these holy days is now nonexistent and thus people assume that the tradition was pagan to begin with because someone who didn’t like Catholics figured out that the Catholic holy days crossed with the pagan feasts and wrongfully concluded that the Catholic holy days were pagan to begin with.
