I hope the Vatican releases more photos, especially today with his inauguration. If so, I will add them to this thread. Wondering if anyone got the photo of him with the handicapped gentleman in the crowd as he passed through? He also kissed a few babies. Can you imagine how those parents felt with such an honor?

The look on the man’s face was priceless: astounded and overjoyed. Definitely a modern Gospel moment. Thanks to the poster who shared the link.

Also amused by the crying baby who was rushed to the Popemobile for a blessing, against his will. 😃

And not only that, but the way Pope Francis kissed him was very telling. He did not just give him a symbolic kiss, but he clearly held him lovingly as he kissed him. What an excellent example. 🙂

This reminds me of JPII and the disabled man without arms who played the guitar with his feet for him at WYD some years ago. He got right up and went over to embrace the man. A scene I will never forget.🙂
