Do they use chopped onion and mustard on those brats? I am itching to start the grill and experiment on the powers of brats. The pope may even know of an excellent German beer to soak them in first. I want these powers.

He must obviously be referring to the following;
“To the Legion of Super-Heroes, I make this solemn pledge: to use my powers for good. To fight for justice and protect the innocent. To aid my fellow Legionnaires in times of peril and to keep their secrets safe. I choose a new name to honor the heroes of the past”.
The best Legionnaire? I’m partial to XS and Chameleon Boy, and I like the idea of certain versions of Karate Kid (specifically how he is depicted in the Animated Series).

I know you are new here but you might want to read the “Rules of the Road” first before starting new threads. First of all, you need to provide links when you want to discuss a news source. It isn’t enough to say the story was in several newpapers. Second, always do a search first to make sure the topic hasn’t already been posted.
BTW, it isn’t the Legionaries that are being given any powers. It’s a papal delegate who is being given broad discretion in his charge to investigate and restructure the Legionaries.
