The female anatomy and the male anatomy was and is sexualized in every country. Modernism is still very active in the Church, even if the Church denies its presence and continuing influence. Have you seen the Kamasutra and the temples that promote it? Have you heard of the Turin Erotic Papyrus, or the kōshokubon? Do you think the indigenous peoples were daft when they came up with this imagery?
 
Doesn’t mean that breasts are universally sexualized to the extent that they are in modern western culture. A Victorian Lady was more likely to show cleavage than to show her ankles. Sexuality is heavily formed by cultural conditioning.

Perhaps you did not read my previous post - The female anatomy and the male anatomy was and is sexualized in every country. We have examples in history and records in Sacred Scripture that allude to sins against the 6th and 9th commandment. Degrees of sexualization or ignoring sexualization doesn’t make sexualization go away.
 
Yes, but in different ways. Standards of modesty will vary by culture as the Catechism indicates.

You seem to be saying that ‘sexualisation’ is natural. That isn’t so though. Providentially 60 Minutes Australia did a story about the tribes deep in PNG, last night. They still go around in the barest traditional clothes. The women topless and the men in nothing but a leaf made into a ‘penis pouch’. There is a strong culture of monogamous marriage and sexual morality despite this. There was a story relayed regarding a man who had an affair with another mans wife and their punishment was execution.

The sexualisation of the natural body in the west has coincided with the loss of reverence for the meaning of the human body as fertile and nurturing in the propagation of the human race. It’s sad that we no longer recognise the beauty of this amazing creation of God. It’s just a sexualised, depraved organism.

The providential 60 minutes Australia isn’t a Catholic institution, nor will it teach Catholic doctrine, nor will it advocate a Catholic lifestyle, and will prevent bringing about the reign of Christ the King. If you weren’t aware, it is in the best interest of media to deny sin, because God can be made not to exist, in order for people to live in any manner they choose to. Sexualization has and will exist because of man’s fallen nature.

Having trouble following you. Are you saying the PNG tribes are practicing modernism when they wear their traditional attire?
