I have been speaking with one of my friends about my walk and how it seems the Lord is leading me back home to the Catholic church.

I also began talk to here about Pope John Paul II and how I have always felt close to him, spiritually. He is the only Pope since I have been alive, my grandparents were from Poland.

She suggested that I start praying to him asking for his intercession. She said her Priest has told her it won’t be long before Pope John Paul II is canonized a Saint.

My question: Is there already prayers someone has written to him? Has he been beautified yet?

I found the official website for the Cause of John Paul II. They don’t list any prayers to be offered to him. That doesn’t mean there aren’t any nor that we cannot ask for his intercession, however. He hasn’t been beatified yet, but the process can be a lengthy one, as I’m sure you know.
