You misunderstand. I don’t care to debate anything with you…only to discredit you. It’s an act of charity towards those who might be influenced by your ramblings. I have consistently quoted Catholic sources and you ignore them only because you don’t need them…you won’t learn from them…because like a good modernist, you rely of vital immanence for your “positions”. Sound doctrine is only of value to you if you happen to agree with it.

Vatican II did not change any doctrine. Doctrine does not change. This is the same old argument of people who say it was so wonderful. What doctrine has changed?

Unfortunately, my feelings do have something to do with my faith, because I have to feel in my heart that what I am doing and what I believe is glorifying God and His creation. Maybe the bottom line for me is that I’m just not going to end up Catholic…

How about John3:16 or’Jesus wept"- it was not logical for Jesus to weep! He knew he could raise Lazarus or laying one’s life down for one’s friend- none of these are logical- some would say there down right silly.So why do it- love.Doctrine not based on love of God or man is not very sound is it? Why does God what us to be saved?Does He need us- no - He does it out of the Creator for His creature.The sweetness of loving kindness will get you further then bitter herbs-anytime.
