OP, do you know of the FSSP or ICKSP?

They’re essentially the SSPX, without the canonical baggage. Look them up. If you want the TLM for your wedding, they would be glad to do so.
 
I think the “under certain circumstances” part sounds limiting. I am not begrudging them. I just would not want to be a part of it. Probably because I have a group of them in semi neighboring town. Lovely people but I do not agree with their doctrine.
 
FSSP and FSSPX are both fraternities. One calls itself after St Peter, the other after St Pius X.

Thank you for your help. My son is Roman Catholic, his girlfriend is Piux 10th. They both don’t want to give up their church. Can’t agree on which church to marry, baptize children, etc… It seems their relationship is done. Not sure how to help them.
 
This is disconcerting… Pope Plus and Pope Piux.

SSPX priests can witness marriage WITH the authorization of the Ordinary… which is not by any means a guarantee.
 
To the OP: from personal experience, I will say that the SSPX priests have no interest in getting with the local bishop to get permission to witness a marriage. They were supposed to do that when my husband and so got married in the SSPX chapel we attended, but we literally got told “we aren’t even going to try” to get permission from the local Ordinary. Consequently, when we left the SSPX several years ago, and began attending our FSSP parish, we had to get with our pastor and get a Radical Sanation done through the Local Ordinary’s office… previous to which, WE WERENT ACTUALLY MARRIED!!!

Yes, it was a shock to us, but according to the Catholic Church, we weren’t married because the SSPX priest didn’t have permission.

Don’t let your child “get married” by an SSPX priest!! That’s my recommendation, anywho.
