NHinsider is right about scripture being part of Tradition. The Church gave us Scripture not the other way about. But you can go on about this till the cows come home and people who refuse to accept the plain facts will continue to do so.
NHinsider is also right about this being such a tired argument.
Steven John says "My experience of the our Pentecostal fellowship is they want to be a rescue boat for sinners and are willing to be bumped if it will allow the truth.
Overlooking for the purposes of this post the fact that the sentence makes no grammitical sense, I think we Catholics will continue to stay in the Ark while you, Stevie boy, paddle around in your Pentecostal canoe, bumping into things, most probably other pentecostalists in their own, slightly different canoes, and definitely a whole armada of protestant denominations in their own individual rafts, bathtubs, rowing boats, whaetever, who don’t agree with you, or one another, but hey, that’s protestantism, 'cause it ain’t built on the rock!
Also, the arrogance! Please feel free to keep your patronising platitudes about the Pope, the successor to the prince of the apostles, to yourself
By the way, pbwh? What a load of twaddle! You sound like a moslem, and no, I don’t believe in their religion. At least however, when these misguided people say “peace be upon him”, they are referring to a mere mortal, Mohammed, and not Jesus the Son of the God. We pray for His peace but He doesn’t need us blessing him.At least not according to the Catholic Church, I can’t speak for heretical sects.
God bless,
