I think one of the biggest problems regarding commentary on the Synod, was the fact that people weren’t understanding how a synod works or what synodality meant. It was really important to present the diversity of perspectives and ideas in order to tease the most important aspects from each. It’s fatal for synodality to participate with an attitude of stubborness to even hearing others speak.
