God bless the Holy Father for having the courage to speak on this very dark chapter in human history.

We condemn the Holocaust unequivocally (and rightly so) so why is the civilized world, and in particular the US government, so reluctant to speak out on this equally horrific crime against humanity?

We have military bases there, they’re a NATO ally (for some reason or another), and, most importantly for a lot of countries, they control access to the Black Sea.
 
And again today 9,500 children will die an agonizing death due to starvation. People everywhere turn their heads and pretend not to see.
