There is potential in all of this for a bizarre twist: rather than priests exiting the Vatican in disguises during the nazi occupation of Rome, I would not be surprised if some, ummm…creative members of society rent vestments so as to avoid the lock-downs and curfews.

Elderly homes are closed, no Mass or other religious services, no visits even from family members.

Yes, my grandma’s care home in BC, Canada is on lockdown…immediate family can no longer visit. No one. Period.
