All priests are made holy images of God when they are consecrated to Christ our Lord. Other than the penance and advice you might receive from this very wise man, there’s nothing particularly special about confessing to a Pope. He is a bishop like all other bishops (at least that’s what J.P. II used to say), and has the fullness of the priesthood like any other bishop. It seems to be a sort of spiritual pride or envy that would wish to confess to the Pope just because it’s the Pope.
I’m sorry, but I would be literally speechless. Confession for me is already bad enough, and going to the POPE, the POPE of all religious for Confession is truly terrifying.
