Why is it our concern if any bishop or any priest give Communion to anyone? Why are we judging?

I mean I saw one picture, it was either Pope Benedict or someone else giving Bill Clinton Communion and the same also with John Kerry. I hope the photo wasn’t doctored.
There’s a picture of a priest in South Africa giving Bill Clinton communion. That’s all I can find out there.

Bill Clinton received Communion when he wasn’t supposed to. I remember the picture and the minor controversy. It wasn’t from Benedict.

St. Paul said that he who eats and drinks unworthily eats and drinks judgement unto himself. So I ask the question again, why is it our business if another person receives or not?

maybe Bill is a secret catholic, or maybe it was an Anglican bishop.

Only the deacons recieved Holy Communion from the Pope at the Inaugural Mass, and as Popes have said its very difficult, even if you recognise the person, to judge when a person is in a state of mortal sin
It can’t be THAT hard – we do it all the time here at CAF!!

😃

no you haven’t ,your mistaken
I did however, see Bill Clinton receive communion at a Mass but it was given to him only by a priest. I just looked it up. It still is bad because not only is Bill Clinton pro-choice, but he is also a non-Catholic, so that just makes it worse.

I could be wrong, but I believe people aren’t supposed to be denied Communion during
the Mass physically by the Priest/Deacon/EM.

However, I know of one case where the priest did deny Communion because the person
had spat out the Host in the parking lot. So, they CAN deny Communion during Mass but
generally don’t.

cite please.
In Soweto, South Africa in 1998, mistakenly, by a priest.

Here is one of the many links I found: nytimes.com/1998/04/07/us/president-took-communion-and-criticism.html

Everything I search for on the internet says that the Vice President and Rep. Pelosi received at His Holiness’ Mass, but nothing saying that they received from His Holiness.

I highly doubt with all the commotion of a Papal Mass that the ministers are informed of every single possible politician in the entire world who has publicly advocated for a so-called right to abortion.

don’t alter my statement.
