Pope's Vestments at Corpus Christi Mass

I tuned in very briefly during my lunch, apparently during adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. I only noticed the vestments His Holiness was wearing, which were beautiful. He had additional outer garments besides what your photo shows, like a cloak, if I’m recalling correctly. In my memory he was seated, tho of course during the adoration he was kneeling.

Off topic: I was quite surprised to hear they were praying the The Litany of Peace from the Divine Liturgy. (Page 73. This shows the response in Italian, however it was done in the Greek= Kyrie eleison.) 👍

Is this Litany a part of the Latin Church prayers? I assume the Mass itself, which I missed, was the Roman Rite. I’ve never heard The Litany of Peace prayed in a Latin Church before. (We pray it at the start of every Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom.)
 
I just searched both my 1955 and 2009 missals and didn’t find the Litany of Peace anywhere. I remember it from the Russian Orthodox services I attended, and also found it in a Lutheran missal.

Trying to stretch the ecumenical arm perhaps? That’s very interesting.

The additional garment would be the Cope, which all Catholic Priests wear when processing with the Eucharist.

But, that was during the Procession itself, not in the Mass Proper, so I’m sure there is great flexibility in prayers and hymns used. Not to mention that the Byzantine Rite is part of the treasury of prayers of the Church and the Pope is fully right to make use of such – and it may even be well and good to use such in order to foster more unity in the Church.
