I’m more of a metalhead.

One artist that I enjoy that I think might be of broader interest is Leah. She’s a Catholic, homeschooling mom of 5 (last I heard, maybe the number is higher by now).

Here is one of my favorites:

I love her version of “Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence”:

One of my favorite Christian bands is Theocracy. Here is their 22 minute magnum opus “Mirror of Souls”:

Wow, that first Leah song is great. Never heard her before. Will continue listening. Thanks

I used to like metal. I typically try and find songs from all genre’s. Though Leah do sound good I’ll give it a whirl

Hah… I should get my atheist neighbor to listen to LEAH. We both have a love for kind of Fantasy/Medieval aesthetics, so I think he’d still like it.

I like that much of her lyrics are not the type that hit you over the head with obvious Christianity, but they are nonetheless thoroughly scriptural. Like the “Remnant” song above. It doesn’t mention God or Jesus explicitly, yet it is chock full of biblical quotes and themes. It’s definitely good for covert evangelization. 🙂
