Porn Industry: Is there a support group involve in this industry?

I know there are website that helps individuals fight pornography, mainly those people who are addicted to buying it. I like to know if there is a group that focuses on the actors and models involve in them and try to get them out?

I’d like to bump this thread.

We must have compassion for those who feel forced to serve in the sex industry.

Is anyone aware of support groups for those trapped in those industries?

I know they are not there by choice!!!

They are there because of sexual abuse in the home, physical abuse, mental abuse and many more reasons.

Is it hard to believe teenage girls are sexually abused by step-fathers, brothers, even dads? I’m sorry, it’s not.

Do girls see their mothers beaten…I’m sorry but, yes, everyday.

When will this end? Only if we make it!

Actually, I saw a show on a support group like you’re thinking of, but I don’t remember the name! It was on EWTN, on Life on the Rock at least several months ago. It was something like “Jesus’ Girls”. I tried Google, but couldn’t find it yet.

Some religious orders also specifically work to bring prostitutes out of that “business” and were nastily slammed by Hollywood for their efforts in the anti-Catholic movie The Magdalene Sisters because the nuns gasp treated the girls like sinners who needed some discipline to turn their lives around.

Hello Church,

I heard a group on a radio show a few months ago called “XXX Church”. I don’t know if they are necessarily a support group, but the founder was talking about going to numerous porn conventions and handing out Bibles to the actors/actress and producers, and just basically witnessing to them.

The website (which appears first if you google the name) comes off a little confusing at first. They call themselves the “#1 Christian Porn Site.” Probably for marketing reasons, to trick people into looking at it and then trying to save their souls. I didn’t link it in this thread because I really don’t know much about the group, and don’t really feel like getting banned from the forums due to ignorance. But check it out on your own, and I’d like to hear opinions.
