Hi, I have a framed portrait of the Holy Father which I keep on my desk. I was wondering if keeping a framed portrait of the Holy Father was a popular practice, as I have seen some other Catholics do it but have never heard it mentioned on this forum.

I know there is a portrait of the Pope and Diocesan Bishop in the vestibule of churches, but do many others have a nice portrait of the successor to St Peter?

God Bless

Neither do I. A Catholic shop I visited sold small portraits of the Holy Father intended for laypeople. I just printed a nice picture that was not copyrighted and put it in a frame. It looks very nice and is a great reminder of my faith.

Very cool. Back when Benedict was Pope, I used to cut pictures of him out of magazines and pin them on my bedroom wall. I think, as an aside, that’s one thing I like about being Catholic, is that we have a very visual faith.
