Luke 2:34-35
34 and Simeon said to Mary his mother…
35 “a sword will pierce through your own soul”

According to the Catholic spiritual tradition this prophecy, given to the Virgin Mary, that a sword will pierce your soul, would be realized when she greatly suffered on seven occasion as she experienced what would happen to her son, Jesus.
