Hello! I am with a doubt: does prayer kneeling is more meritorious than layed down or sitting? Or does not exist any difference?
Since now, thank you!

At the Mass we kneel, sit, and stand at the appropriate times with the congregation. If we have physical limitations we just do what we can. (I cannot kneel due to painful knees).Hello! It makes no difference. You can pray standing in the shower or sitting on the toilet seat. It really does not matter.Hello! I am with a doubt: does prayer kneeling is more meritorious than layed down or sitting? Or does not exist any difference?

Not sure whether it makes any difference to God but it certainly is for you if you believe that you must be in a certain position when praying. Which means to say that prayers do depend on our hearts. God delights in an honest prayer that comes from the humility of our heart. And to some people, more often that not, what’s in our hearts is expressed outwardly by our external disposition and posture.Hello! This. I find it useful to alter my posture depending on the type of prayer (a little like the different positions used at Mass). For instance, I may kneel for penitential prayers but stand for other types of prayer.I don’t know about merit, but my personal perception is that posture influences prayer.
