Possible Job Offer

My job with the VA ended on Tuesday 9/30 (end of the fiscal year) and I have been looking for work for about 3 months. I have had 2 interviews with a local not for profit health care organization. The recruiter called me last Monday but I wasn’t in a place where I could talk freely and since then we have been playing phone tag. The job is pretty interesting. A nearby community has 2 Motherhouses of Sisters. The Convents are only blocks apart. They are working together with the health care group to provide care for their elderly Sisters. One convent houses a nursing home and the other is home to a Day Health program, primarily for the Sisters of both orders but also has some elderly folks from the community as well.
I would be in charge of the Recreation Therapy program. The participants in the day program are elderly, too frail to work and cannot be without supervision but not ready for the nursing home. I think this would be a great job! Pray that the recruiter and I connect tomorrow and that I hear positive results. I really need to be working and this sounds like a great job!
 
Father thank You for this opportunity for this mother. Please let it come to fuit with Your grace. I ask, in Jesus’ name

Just wanted to update…Finally talked with the recruiter this morning, she has been off as her small daughter has pneumonia and did not respond quickly to the antibiotics (prayers, please). From our conversation this morning the recruiter told me I was their pick but she needed to do a background check and check my references. So hopefully I’ll know something by the end of the week. Also finally got through to the Employment Development Dept. and 2.5 hours of re-dialing every 5 minutes so I got all signed up! Thanks for your prayers!
