Possible really good idea

I’ve been engaging in a debate with Protestants on Mary as the Living Ark of the New Covenant, I chose that topic because I’m doing the 33 Day Marian Consecration and mine will conclude on the Feast of the Visitation, during the debate (which I’m taking a break from for now, to work on my Consecration) I prayed and meditated a bit on the Visitation and the Old Testament passages that foreshadowed it. I’ve been meditating on the Visitation as part of my Consecration in general and I’ve also started reading St. Alphonsus de Liguori’s Glories of Mary which starts off with a meditation on the Salve Regina.

I’m considering writing a book on Mary as the Ark of the Covenant and as the Living Temple of God, and I would like your prayers that, if this is a good idea, it grows and develops in my mind. I don’t writing the book for some time, I need to finish my Marian Consecration first and then I’m planing on spending the rest of the summer developing my prayer life. But perhaps, through your prayers, God may force my hand to write the book sooner, either way, I’d like prayers that I keep this idea in my mind and that it develop and grow.

I don’t know why you would be taking a break from the 33 Days of Consecration unless you are not quite ready for it. I also would not be engaging a Protestant in a debates at the same time. Do one thing at a time and do it well.

I think writing a book about Mary as the Living Ark is a fine idea. However, it sounds as if you have a lot of distractions going on in your spiritual life at the moment. Again, I would suggest that you concentrate on one quest at a time and do it well.

I’m taking a break from the debate, not the Consecration, I am focusing on the Consecration for the most part.
