Yeah, I recently shaved my head bald, so that gave a huge mindset change, which gave me an at least temporary relief from sinful habits I had. Well, that’s as far as I can tell. So the returning temptations I mentioned are kind of annoying, so I could use prayer with that.

Lovecraft was a materialist and his stories take place in a universe that assumes materialism so there can be no occult in his stories. The cults involve interdimensional/extraterrestrial beings, not demons.

His stories make me uncomfortable but that’s what they were written for. They are very bleak with no hope at all for the poor humans.

You’ve gotten some good advice.
I suppose we like to believe that one size fits all, but it dosen’t.
If your having any doubts, then why do it?
