The Holy Father’s ’ favourite icon of Our Lady in Rome had restoration work last year .

The Salus populi Romani is located inside the St. Mary Major Basilica.

These are ones in my possession. The Saint Basil one is from St. Joseph’s Orthodox boy’s school (though, I got it from a Melkite church), and The Theotokos and child was actually a gift from the priest that brought me into the Church. He got it, I do believe, from Maronites in the Holy land. My favourite one that I do not have is Christ Pantocrator. (Sorry for the flash, but you wouldn’t see it otherwise)

Not this icon specifically (I’ve never been to St. Jude’s in Miami), but something very similar to this, I have seen many times, and I love how the resurrection is depicted in the east.
