This nativity scene is my favorite Christmas decoration. I most like that everyone is tired and Joseph is protecting the Holy Family
 
That’s very sweet.

Since today is May 1, the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker, this bronze statue of St. Joseph and the child Jesus can be seen displayed at Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral here in L.A. It’s called “Adoption,” and the sculptor is Christopher Slatoff

The first time I saw one of these in the Catholic bookstore, I thought it was Jesus asleep in the bottom of the boat during the storm…
