Any good “thinker” can take a story of any kind and make it sound the way THEY want it to sound.
So goes a math scholar, lawyer, English major, pharmaceutical studies, etc…

Statistics can be taken and ignored…which ever way it makes one’s statement’s believable.Very few “studies” are actually pro and con.

A Lawyer is the best at “making a case” for or against anything.

The actual “decline” started way before Vat 2. Some nuns had come together and “The Sister Formation Conference” was born. This was the start of many nuns leaving the church. Nuns in olden days were “cheap labor”, had no say in any affairs of their own convent or anything else. Some were invited to the Second Vat Council but were not even allowed to speak.

I’ll just bet IF someone actually took the “numbers” before and after Vat 2, there would be a totally different story being printed.
