Hello all,

Anyone going to the March for Life this year? I am! I’m hoping it doesn’t rain - but I’ll be there anyway. Last year was my first time and I was scared, but then it turned out great. No one that I go with knows the real reason why I’m there, but I do, and that’s enough for me. Maybe one day, I’ll be able to walk with my sign… we’ll see. Here’s a look back at my experience at the March for Life last year.

Hello ForGood! Thank you for posting the link to your story. I was very moved by it. I can’t even imagine the emotional pain you must have gone through after your abortion, or the courage it must have taken to join the March For Life.

And I’m so glad your experience was a (mostly) positive one. Although we Catholics, well a lot of us anyway, oppose abortion, i’ve never known any Catholics who are hateful or judgmental toward women who have had abortions. I think most us realize we’ve ALL made mistakes & aren’t in any position to judge someone else.

It sounds like you’ve found peace in your heart & I truly hope you have. Our God is an awesome God indeed! He always forgives us when we confess our sins & are truly sorry for them. And He can bring about good from any evil. I believe wholeheartedly that one day you & your baby will be reunited in Heaven, never to be separated again.

I WISH I were going on the March For Life this year! Maybe someday :). In the meantime I hope you’ll update us on your experiences at the March this year. I hope it’s a wonderful experience for you!
