Do not pass judgement on clergy as to whether they are loyal to the Church or not, that is the job of their Superior. If they are currently functioning, then you should assume they are still in communion with the Church.
If you find yourself saying, “Father, I’m sorry but you…” be very careful with what follows, you might find yourself suspended.
