Posture for Lectors?

I attend mass in different locations and Lectors and Extraordinary Ministers approach the Altar or Pulpit in different manners. Some Bow, some Nod, some Genuflect and some just walk up. What is the correct way for a lay person to approach the Altar or Pulpit during the Mass?

Ceremonial of Bishops, No. 72:

A deep bow is made to the altar by all who enter the sanctuary, leave it, or pass before the altar.

Ceremonial of Bishops, No. 137

“After the opening prayer, the reader goes to the ambo and proclaims the first reading …”

The lector should only bow if he is entering/leaving the sanctuary or passing by the altar. If the lector is located in such a spot that he is not doing those things then a simply walk to and from the pulpit is required.

Genuflection only takes place at the beginning and end of Mass.
General Instruction of the Roman Missal, No. 274:

If, however, the tabernacle with the Most Blessed Sacrament is present in the sanctuary, the priest, the deacon, and the other ministers genuflect when they approach the altar and when they depart from it, but not during the celebration of Mass itself.
