Potential Supreme Court Picks Elana Kagan, Diane Wood Strongly Back Abortion

Washington, DC – Should pro-abortion Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens decide in the coming days or weeks to retire, three potential replacements have been named as the most likely candidates to replace him. Two of the potential nominees for President Barack Obama are longtime pro-abortion activists.

I would have been way more surprised (but it would be a very pleasant surprise) if the potential nominees were pro-life.

did anybody ever doubt that? because of Obama, we will never end abortion.

Oh, it will end sometime. But the election of Obama ensured that virtually all federal judgeships and judicial nominations throughout the federal judiciary will be filled with abortion advocates at every level, up to and including the U.S. Supreme Court. He will ensure a dearth even of the availability of pro-life judges in the federal judiciary for a long time to come.

Yes. “Elections have consequences” and this is one of them. I am put to mind of those Obama advocates who, prior to the election, were all over this site pushing his candidacy. Now and then, someone would suggest to them that they were supporting abortion in supporting Obama; something the Obama people would deny in a high dudgeon.

But here we are, and it’s true, and they did.

Not surprised.

Our prayers will be answered one day, keep the faith.

These are regretful opinions that Obama and the others in Washington hold, but let us pray for them.

Let us pray, fervently, that they might see the error in their thinking, and begin promoting the culture of life.

We may be unhappy with their current opinions, but wouldn’t that make it all the more triumphant for Christ if they were to turn back to him?
