Power of Jesus Prayer!

Howdy all my Eastern Brothers.

I just wanted to share something amazing. I suffer from a number of illnesses that prevent me from going to work. This causes me to have alot of time off.

However on my way to work this morning I remembered what the monks at St Anthony’s monastery and the monks on Mt Athos say “Pray the Jesus Prayer at all times”.

So I pulled out my chotki and started praying. I completely lost count. But what I do know is that I am typing this at my work computer waiting to start. I encourage all my brothers and sisters to pray the Jesus Prayer as It truly does have power. Sure, I also love the Divine Chaplet and Rosary, but as they are Latin I wont talk about them here 😃

Please Remember me in your prayers, And always know God loves you.

I love the Jesus Prayer. I say it many times a day when I’m tempted to sin or have a sinful or even angry or uncharitable thought. It’s also the best way for me to clear my mind and prepare for Adoration. I also use my finger rosary and pray it 10x followed by an Act of Contrition I do this for the 4 different AOCs that I know. For me it’s like praying the Rosary.
Lord Jesus Christ Son of the living God have mercy on me a sinner!
