I’m a tradition-minded Catholic and since 2004, one of my primary literary sources of refreshment, formation and personal correction has been Fr. Alphonsus Rodriguez’ papally recommended Practice of Perfection and Christian Virtues.
I am of the opinion that of all the works that deserve to be on a Traditional Catholic’s bookshelf, Fr. Rodriguez’ masterpiece is certainly among the Top 10.

Earlier today, I resurrected an old thread concerning the same work. I was unaware of the “old threads” rule until just now, and as recommended by the note accompanying that rule, I’m creating a new thread in order to attract fresh perspective.
I’m wondering if anyone besides me has been making use of the digitized editions of PPCV, whether they’ve been helpful to you, if you have any favorite gems from the two volumes? And so on.
