I just responded to your Latin with, “It is lol” and in the parentheses I put “ten characters, lol again”. Lol

The transition from English cyberspeak-> English → Greek could be bizarre - that’s what I was thinking
 
Hmm now you have me thinking what it would be like in Koine Greek to translate. I mean it is a 21st century computer internet phrase that is somewhat idiomatic so it might not work in Greek but the best I could think of for a translation of lol is “κραυγάζω γελοιαστών” or something like that. Lol!!! (Do I say that too much? Lol). It literally means in Greek “I cry out laughing.”

I hate idioms. I hate Greek idioms. They’re so stupid. The phrase “if not” is idiomatic for “except” in Greek. Another is “onto which” which is idiomatic for “because”. I used to get so confused seeing those.
 
So is “gay apparel” but it still needs to be translated or explained.
