Have a Praise to share!

Back this past summer, a friend of a friend, Amanda, started helping me around my house and with the boys. Sort of being a Nanny/Housekeeper for me, which frees me up to be able to work from home (thanks be to God!).

Well, her ex-boyfriend is trying to get custody of their son because he doesn’t want to pay child support 😦 (Prayer request #1)

When this started happening, I picked up a Rosary for her and a pamphlet with all the scripture reading according to the Mysteries, gave it to her and just said to her … “We have a Mother in Heaven, and she will pray for us, she understands” and that’s it!

Amanda never said anything else to me about the Rosary.

Well, this past Oct 31st, was the last day that I had seen her or talked to her until TODAY! Seems like she kind of went off the deep end and went through a huge depression/anxiety darkeness (prayer request #2).

She and I talked today, all morning long. Crying. Talking about Christ, suffering, and life. And she told me something…

Back at the end of August she saw my Rosary on my coffee table with a copy of the 9-1-1 prayer that Fr. John Corpai suggests that we pray in emergencies, in times of need. It’s (9) Memorares (1) Rosary (1) Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

She said that she started praying it with my Rosary Beads. Right there, in my house, she just felt the need. And the more she prayed, the stronger a smell of Roses overcame her. She told me that she was freaking out and stopped praying.

Now, she’s never been around Catholics, she knows nothing about the Faith…

Needless to say, we loaded up and she stepped foot for the first time in a Catholic Church today. She was overwhelmed by the feeling inside the church, I could tell she was breathing very hard while we were there, we went over and prayed to the Blessed Mother, lit candles, etc.

It was awesome!

Please pray for Amanda and all her needs. Protection for her family (she has two little boys, she is a single mother) and yes, pray for her conversion…I think our Blessed Mother wants her to come to her Son and His Church.

Thank you! And God bless you all!

Praise God! Hail Mary!

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

Keeping Amanda and all her needs in prayer along with her little family. Praying she will be converted too and find Peace and Joy in Catholicism …

As I type, I am shaking, crying and felt the need to update you all.

Yesterday evening, about 5pm, Amanda was at the laundry mat area of her apartment complex, her sons were with her. The boys decided to go back to their apartment. Youngest son left first, oldest son leaving just a few seconds later. Within a couple of minutes, her youngest son brought her a card. On the front, it read…

AMANDA: God loves you and your children.

The card was a navity scene, with the scripture verse about Mary rejoicing in her Son, her Lord and Savior. The card was not signed and had $300 in cash inside of it.

She asked her son who it was from and where he got it. He said a lady was walking by and asked him if he was one of “Amanda’s children”, he answered yes, and the lady gave it to him. Then she kept walking.

Thing is, her oldest son did not see the lady.

She had black hair, long and silver shoes on, her son told her.

Amanda came to my house, just now and asked me if I had sent the card and money. I did not.

We have spent the last 30 minutes trying to find a responsible explanation for this occurance…and frankly, we can not…except…

Our Blessed Mother!

So, I continue to cry. I told Amanda that Our Mother is looking out for her and loves her.

I’m still shaking. I have never experienced such a miracle.

Thank you all for your prayers. Our Mother hears them.
