Praise God for my visit w/ mom

Hi folks,
I’d just like to post a thanksgiving
prayer for my visit w/ my mother in
the nursing home on MOTHER’S
DAY unknowingly, she replied:
“You brightened my Day!!” altho
I didn’t even get her anything for
Mother’s Day.
 
Your gift to her was your visit. That’s all she needed, that you remembered to visit her on Mother’s Day. Praying for the intentions of you & your Mom.
 
Our thanks to God for this blessing, which will remain to brighten your heart and memory whenever you need.

How special! Prayers for you and your mom. When my mom was in the nursing home she didn’t know what day it was but she brightened up when she saw me and that still gives me great pleasure to remember her face like that!
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

I visit w/ my mother once a week,
and recently my brother found an
old scrabble game that me and mom
used to play, so now we play scrabble
when I visit her!! Praise and glory and
honor be to the Lord!!

Our Father, who is in heaven,

A friend of the family visits her almost
DAILY to feed her breakfast and supper.
He is away for 3 weeks to Europe so I
have to fill in for him! Please pray that
the weather will be fine so that I can
ride my bicycle this month to the
nursing home. (I have a monthly pass
for the bus next month).

Her friend has come home from
his trip, but I agreed to help feed
mom in the mornings. Thank God
for Bob and all he’s been doin’ for
mom, I pray for his and his wife’s
Salvation!!

“For God so loved the world,
He gave His only begotten Son,
that [if Bob chooses to believe] in Him
[he] will NOT perish, but have everlasting
Life.” John 3: 16

I am going EVERY morning to help
feed my mom, she is doing as well
as I’d hope and is eating well, praise
be to God!!

V. The Lord be w/ you.

my mom for all the ways she has been
a help to me, consistently!!

in this Valley of Tears. Turn, then, most gracious Advocate,
your eyes of mercy towards us and after this our exile,

we may be made worthy of the promises
